I'm part of this facebook group called "Mommies Unite." Jenna, a fellow pregger friend posted this today and it is absolutely worthy of posting again, especially on a pregnant blog. Google got me good :) If you get this in an email, you will have to go to the blog directly to see the video. Hope you enjoy.

Under the Sea!
So we are seeing a lot of progress with our home. Nelson pretty much finished the bathroom (just need to add the accent stuff and decorations, but no rush on those) The stairs will be done within the next few weeks and then we will be working on the...on the... on the... nursery! GULP!!!
Wow, it's really crazy how time is FLYING by! We are at 25 weeks already and I feel like I just told everyone that we were expecting! In a few days, we will be in mid-September already and didn't it JUST turn September 1st?
So seeing that we will be in nursery mode soon, wanted to share somewhat of what our theme is. Most of you know that Nelson and I love to scuba. We flew 30 something hours to Australia just to say that we scubaed the Great Barrier Reef. So we hope one day that we can take our daughter, "Down Under" with us.
But first we have to convince her that it's an exciting place to be. So why not start with planting the seeds with her nursery :)
This set is called Cocalo Turtle Reef. We actually liked this set even before we found out we were having a girl and since we didn't want a pink room, we felt that this could be gender neutral. Our pet turtle Crush approved of this set as well. Geez, I wonder why :)
Of course I look at the sites Totsy and Zullily everyday and I saw this cute backpack:
Maybe "turtle" can be her first word. Haha, most likely it will be Dada since babies get that one before MaMa. Well it can't hurt to try teaching her by showing her pictures of turtles from the Great Barrier Reef!
SAY TERTEL, TERRRRTELLLL "Turtle!" BGC shouts! I can picture it now :)
I'm glad I saved my fat pants!
I've always been up and down with my weight, pounds up and down here and there. When I reached my lowest weight, I vowed that I would never end up in my fat pants and in fact I threw them all out, except for 1 pair of Brown BCBG work pants. I kept them for 2 reasons:
Reason # 1 - They are great quality pants and I could always get them altered
YEA and THAT NEVER HAPPENED!
Reason # 2 - In case I would ever get pregnant, these would be a great pair of pants to wear to work.
Well today I stuck by my reasoning (#2) and I wore them to work today. And you know what the best part is? My fat pants button up! haha, so it makes me feel a little bit better for not being able to fit in my other work pants!

Here's today's work outfit (photo by Joe)
The shirt is from my coworker Suzanne. I shrunk it by accident in the dryer :( but at least it can still work!

Just love this
You may have seen this before, but since today was a sad day, I thought it would be nice to see something that would make us all smile and appreciate the precious human life that we all have :)
Nature Call's and Call's and Call's
I always wake up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, but the past few days in the early AM hours it's been a little too much and when the alarm goes off, I'm really sleepy. Also my dreams have been very vivid throughout the night and AM so I think I'm not getting a very restful sleep. Hey I'll take that over being sick and insomnia. :)
Yesterday I decided to take my niece Erin with me to the grocery store. When she saw me, she went straight to my tummy, kissed it, and said "I kissed the baby!" She is such a sweetheart. She's on her 2nd loose tooth (she's 6 in november) and the tooth fairy left $5 dollars for the first. When we were at the store, she saw a doll (disney princess), and I couldn't resist and bought it for her. There are other dolls in that collection (Belle and Sleeping Beauty) so I said that when she saves her money from the tooth fairy she can buy another doll. They cost 10 dollars so she asked me if 10 dollars was the same as 10 bucks? HA! so cute. Yes Erin 10 bucks = 10 dollars. So I have a feeling she will be saving up for the other princesses.
Later in the afternoon, I did my usually cooking and then just relaxed. I was so over tired that I wasn't able to nap, BUT I was able to stare at my belly a lot. It's pretty amazing that her movements are much more visible. Sometimes I see a quick punch or kick, so it looks like popcorn is popping in my belly or sometimes I actually see her slowly move her elbow or some other body part. I absolutely love it and she never fails at making me laugh.
Last night Nelson was talking to her again, and I think she was sleeping peacefully because there wasn't much movement and then all of a sudden while Nelson was up close, BAM! She hit him. "DADDY I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!" Sometimes he talks to her like he's Darth Vader!
Stop pushing Star Wars on our unborn baby, Nelson! And stop scaring her with your Darth Vader voice!
Today we went to Ikea to get some furniture. It was fun at first, but after dodging many people, we were DONE and of course the piece of furniture that we wanted, was out of stock. So I will be going there tomorrow after work to pick it up. Hopefully some Ikea men can help this preggers lady out!
We are getting this piece so we can move our pet crush to another area of our 1st floor, plus we need storage for Baby Girl!!!
When we got home, I was pretty tired and didn't want to do anything. BUT for some reason, I went to my closet and rearranged my whole clothing arrangement. Our guest room was a complete baby/office/crap zone so I was able to get through it all within 45 minutes! Nesting perhaps? Well I also needed to clean it up because we have these kids staying over our house on Friday:
Have a great week!

Another email from the Tula's
"I've been watching A Baby's Story all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just can't wait till December!!!"
I actually like to watch TLC's Baby's First Day. You may think I'm weird, but I watch the episodes while I'm on the elliptical in my basement and whenever the baby is born and is placed in the mommy or daddy's hands, I immediately get choked up. It's a great show, very informative of the whole labor process and they give definitions for all the medical terminology throughout the labor. This is what many of the mamas look like:
On another note, as I was searching through photos on Google images, I came across this one:
These headphones are very similar to the ones I use when I play Baby Einstein and Rockabye Baby Lullabies to BGC. I'm sure this is her face when she hears the tunes.
From Grandpa Tula
My father loves the US Open and he watches it non-stop when it's on, so last night he must have been in the tennis mood when thinking about Baby Girl Castro. He emailed me:
I think that we are facing a good tennis player!!! since she move side to side quite well!!! Love Pop
