Reduce, Reuse, Recyle...

Have kids after all of your friends and family have kids and that way you can steal their stuff! :)

This weekend we went up to CT for a wedding and we visited friends and family.  It was a fun, short trip and out of that short trip, we scored a few hot items for our baby C:

2 play gyms!!! 

2 bathing seats to use in the tub (one pink/one blue)

One vibrating chair!

a jumper seat that you hang from any door frame!

The above items are not the exact photos of what we received but they are pretty darn close.  Nelson's friend's Brendan and Stephanie have 2 kids (3 year old girl, Mackenzie and 15 month old boy Brodie).  They pretty much took us to their garage and handed us stuff that they were dying to get rid of.  All of this stuff takes up room and when the kids grow out of it, you feel bad just throwing it away, so it was pretty awesome that they thought of us and donated it to baby C.  Check those items off our registry!  

Thank you Brendan, Steph, Mack, and Bro Bro!  You guys are awesome!

And that's not the last of it!  We went to my sis-in-law's house (Sabrina and John) for lunch with the family.  She took us down to their basement and showed us tons of stuff, including a whole bedding/nursery set! I couldn't find a good photo, but the theme is cream moons and stars.  Very very sweet and delicate.  There was even a matching lamp shade!  We didn't end up taking that yet because we didn't have room from the other fun stuff that we received earlier that day. Thanks Sabrina, John, Brenna, and Skylar! We will be picking that up soon.  

Now all we need is to get our nursery and then we will be ready to go.

Here ye! Here ye! We are happy to take any hand me downs! I repeat, we are happy to take any hand me downs! And when the time comes around, we will absolutely do the same.  Recycling is the cool thing to do!

I wish that they had a "Bag, Borrow, Steal" site for baby stuff because I would absolutely use it.  Happy August everybody!
